In 2007, TEG created the A+RISE “Standards2Strategy” teacher professional development tool. A+RISE was a professional development application that provided simple-to-use instructional strategies for supporting English Language Learners (ELLs) who were in traditional or inclusive classrooms. A+RISE was acquired by Pearson Education in 2009 and was subsequently licensed to the TEA as a statewide support for the Texas English Language Proficiency Standards (ELPS).
