In 2010, TEG was chosen by the Secretaría Educación Pública (SEP) in Mexico to undertake a demonstration project aligning hundreds of Mexico’s Telesecundaria videos to Texas’ Essential Knowledge and Skills and to Florida’s NGSS standards. The custom-designed software application was one of the first online educational video libraries of its kind, and was piloted successfully to ELL students in Lamar ISD and West Palm Beach, Florida. Its design and structure became the basis for la SEP’s YouTube library program.
